LeBron James was part of Fanatics Fest NYC, the world’s largest arena for sports and collectibles that brought together enthusiasts, renowned athletes, and passionate collectors.
And the Los Angeles Lakers superstar guard was one of the most sought after athlete, with hundreds of fans asking him for an autograph.

James is focusing on getting his knee healthy in time for training camp, as the iconic baller plans to return for his 23rd NBA season, which would make him the first player in league history to reach that milestone. The 40-years-old said his left knee is feeling “good” after spraining a ligament in April, following the Lakers season-ending loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
LeBron James sat down for a quick interview with viral teenager journalist Jazlyn Guerra – known in social media as Jazzy, with a YouTube channel called Jazzy’s World TV – a dream come true for the young reporter, who posted on Instagram that James inspire kids around the world.
But due to the height difference – LeBron James is 6’8, while Guerra is close to 5 feet -, the Lakers superstar agreed to do the inverview while sitting down, in order for Jazlyn to be able to be at a similar level than the NBA player. The teenager appreciated LeBron’s gesture and got to ask him about some of the adjustments he had to make when he entered the league, straight out of high school.
“The number one thing for me was that I had to remain true to who I am, and I also had a group of guys around me that held me accountable. That means a lot to me. I didn’t have ‘Yes, man’, around me, I had guys that if I was doing something that they didn’t believe that it was the correct way, they get on me, constructive criticism, which I think is very good,” James answered.
LeBron James is far from done with the game. He still thrives on the daily grind – including practices, film sessions and shootarounds – and hasn’t lost the hunger to compete. His family is one of the major reasons why he continues to push forward, including his Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Bronny James.
