Lee Johnston, a five-time Northwest 200 winner, will not compete in international road racing events during the 2025 race season.
According to his YouTube account, ‘General Lee’, who finished second in last August’s Lightweight Manx Grand Prix, will race for the In Competition Sencat squad in next year’s British Supersport Championship on 765 Triumph machines.
With his new employers electing not to participate in road events, combined with the inability to locate a suitable package and having spoken with numerous teams about pure road racing, he has decided that it is best to sit out road action in 2025.
He stated:
“Thought it was better not to do the job, if I couldn’t do it properly, then just to go and don’t want to sound arrogant go and make up the numbers.
