Kate Cassidy, Liam Payne’s girlfriend, celebrated the new year by reuniting with their rescue dog after receiving a tattoo honoring her late lover.
The former One Direction singer sadly died in October, aged 31, after falling from the third storey of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Kate, who had been in a relationship with the late artist since 2022, was with him in Argentina before he died. They reunited with his former bandmate Niall Horan while watching his concert.
Kate opted to go back to the couple’s home in Miami just a few days before Liam died, while he had stayed behind to renew his US visa. Kate paid tribute to her late partner in a touching social media message, revealing that they had hoped to take their relationship to the next level and how ‘444’ had been “angel numbers” for them.
Kate allegedly spent the end of the year in New York with her closest friends. She was also accompanied by the rescue dog she and Liam had adopted earlier this year. The pair got Nala from Urgent Dogs of Miami over the summer, and Liam proclaimed, “I am in love.”
