The ongoing feud between Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju popularly known as Bobrisky and social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan has escalated, resulting in Bobrisky filing a ₦1 billion lawsuit against VeryDarkMan over defamation claims. According to Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan released an AI-generated audio recording that falsely linked Bobrisky to illicit relationships with politicians and law enforcement officials.
Bobrisky’s legal team has demanded that VeryDarkMan retract the audio, issue public apologies, and pay damages, stating that these allegations have severely damaged Bobrisky’s reputation.
VDM, however, claims he obtained Bobrisky’s phone recordings as part of his investigation and has stood by his claims on social media. The situation has attracted significant attention, with both parties refusing to back down.
Bobrisky’s team has emphasized that if the demands are not met within 24 hours, they will pursue legal action. This lawsuit is part of a broader legal battle over personal defamation and reputation management in the digital age.
